Πlatformes, space for contemporary art, theory and visual culture presented the project “Happy 2008” at Fournos, centre for art and new technologies in Athens
Text recitations, interactive video projections, live musical improvisations, perfromances were just some of the media used in this collective effort.
The Πlatformes was a space for visual and theoretical intervention that functioned as a means of analysis and a space for communication. The Πlatformes were active on multiple levels involving visual arts, theory and visual culture. They organised and hosted projects. The Πlatformes were based on the idea of non-hierarchical participation and interaction, acting as a forum for exchange and co-creation.
